Hang out

Browse the web together with friends

Send a friend the link to any page. When they open it, you see each other’s cursors, say hey right from yours and react as you scroll. No call, no screen share. Just the page, together.

SPOT runs in Chrome on your computer.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add SPOT to Chrome

You and your friends each add it once. It’s free.

  2. 2

    Share a link

Send any page to a friend, or meet in your Spot.

  3. 3

    Hang out

See each other’s cursors, chat and react right on the page.

Questions?

Do my friends need SPOT too?

Yes. Everyone adds SPOT to Chrome once, for free. Then any page you all open is a place to meet.

Who will I see on a page?

In your Spot, just the people in it. Outside a Spot you’re in the page’s public space, with anyone else who has SPOT on that page.

Does it work on every website?

Almost all of them, from YouTube to your favorite shop. Chrome doesn’t let extensions run on its own pages, like the new tab page or the Chrome Web Store.

Is SPOT free?

Yes. SPOT is free to use.
